"Within 3 months I have completely stopped the medicines! I never want to go back!"

Years ago, Willemien Wiersma had never heard of Asya's method. She suffered from various health problems, including fibromyalgia and migraines, and got into a conversation about this with her sister Tineke.  Tineke had an autoimmune disease and had come into contact with Asya and her method, which is aimed at restoring digestion and metabolism. The method had such a positive effect on Tineke's health that she not only became much healthier, but also decided to take Asya’s course to become a coach for Asya's method.  Tineke told Willemien about the special effect of Asya's method and Willemien became enthusiastic! It was already important for Willemien to take good care of her body and the switch to Asya’s method was a very conscious choice for her. Willemien now eats extremely healthy and, as much as possible, organic. Willemien: "Since I have followed this method, my complaints have disappeared. I already noticed a difference after eight weeks." In January this year, Willemien took three types of various medicines: against the pain caused by fibromyalgia, pills for bladder support and medicines for migraine. Within three months the doctor allowed her to completely stop taking the medication. Following Asya's method took some getting used to for 63-year-old Willemien in the beginning. E-numbers, sugar, cookies, candies and chips were removed from her menu. "It was quite a change in the beginning".Now Willemien is used to it. She does her shopping at organic stores. When asked if that is terribly expensive, Willemien replies: “Buying everything organically, especially fruit and vegetables, can indeed be quite pricey, but when you consider that I don't spend any more on sweets, cakes and chips… then it is not really so much more expensive. " And then she adds: "It's an investment in my health!" “There are people who don't understand why I eat like that. They find it uncomfortable if I turn something down. I don't find it hard to say no. Previously I always participated for fun, but now I no longer do that.” Though, this doesn’t mean that she cannot eat out comfortably. Willemien then makes a conscious choice and sometimes asks whether a certain dish can be replaced by, for example, a salad. “It is important to me that I eat a lot of raw food. When I go out for lunch, there are often salads on the menu. So that will always be fine."Willemien: “I mainly eat a lot of raw vegetables and fruit. Asya's method has an enormous amount of variation, so it doesn't get boring at all." Willemien has since gained a lot of knowledge about nutrition. This can also be seen in her menu. Willemien chooses not to eat meat and she compensates for this by eating lots of lentils, fish and brown rice. To get some nice new ideas, Willemien likes to read Asya's books. WILLEMIEN’S TIPWhat tip does Willemien have for anyone who wants to improve his or her health? Willemien: “If you follow Asya's method, your health will improve. For example, it is definitely worth stopping all those chemical dyes, E numbers, and preservatives, simply because it's not good for you. And it is certainly worth it to get used to a different way of eating – to a different discipline. Since following Asya's method I have had more energy, my bowel movements have improved drastically and I feel better than ever. I never want to go back to my old diet!”
